The WELL Water concept covers aspects of the quality, distribution and control of liquid water in a building. It includes features that address the availability and contaminant thresholds of drinking water, as well as features targeting the management of water to avoid damage to building materials and environmental conditions.

Staying hydrated with high quality drinking water is critical to human health. In Melbourne we are very lucky that the local municipal water quality is very high. At 500 Collins we have tested the building’s water quality for water contaminants and additives such as sediment, microorganisms, dissolved metals, organic pollutants, herbicides, pesticides and fertilisers, disinfectants, disinfectant by-products and fluoride, as well as taste properties, to ensure that the building’s plumbing system doesn’t negatively impact on the water quality.
